What a wonderful season it has been! Easter is always a joy to celebrate and we did it the right way at Ransom UMC this year. With breakfast, an egg hunt, and a joyful service to boot, I really enjoyed our Easter gatherings! But we can’t just move on and forget about what Easter means and the profound impact it has on our lives.
It’s for that reason that we will be jumping into a series called “What Now?” We are going to explore what it means to live after the resurrection. After all, just because Easter is over doesn’t mean our task as followers of the risen King is. We will delve into different parts of the book of Acts in hopes of answering this question, “Where do we go from here?” I truly hope as many people will join us as possible. This month, we had an incredible blessing. A few of my friends from Olivet Nazarene University came and lead us in an incredible night of worship music. We will have many more events like this in the future so, I encourage you to take a look at our calendar of upcoming events. We have some fun events planned for people and families of all ages. If you think you know someone who might enjoy coming to one of our events, reach out to them. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy the things that God blesses us with. And lastly, many of you already know, but for those who haven’t heard yet, I am blessed to serve the Ransom and Verona United Methodist Churches for another year. I am excited to remain in this charge and it is my hope that we can come together and be disciples for Christ in our small little communities. I hope to see as many people as possible at worship and at our events! I am so excited for the way God is moving. Blessings, Pastor Jon Comments are closed.
