WOMEN OF FAITH: The United Methodist Women have a long history of being involved in missions both locally and globally. Our chapter of UMW is no different. We meet monthly to pray for and encourage each other, to raise money for missions, and to grow spiritually. Our Hostesses provide a dessert for our enjoyment and our Program Leaders touch our hearts and instruct our minds with stories, poems, and other teachings to help us grow in faith and love. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of the month. Times and places vary to make it possible those who have careers outside the home to join us when they can. Women of all ages are welcome.
ANNUAL CRAFT BAZAAR: In the fall of the year the UMW holds their primary fundraiser: an Annual Craft Bazaar. All year long the ladies are sewing and crafting resulting in beautiful handmade quilted items, doilies, necklaces, scarves, wreathes, Rada Cutlery and other kitchen accessories. The quality workmanship is evident in every piece, and the money raised is used for ongoing projects and missions. Craft Bazaar, every Sunday, October through December, before & after church services in the League Room next to the Sanctuary.
