It's that time of year again! Easter is right around the corner. On April 21st, we have the chance to celebrate the resurrection of Christ together and it is truly one of my favorite times of year. This year, as we have in the past, we will be having an Easter morning breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt! I truly hope to see as many people come out as possibly can. Everyone is then invited to join us for our morning worship at 10:00!
WHAT CAN YOU DO?!? INVITE SOMEONE TO COME WITH YOU!!! No one likes to go to church alone, but more than that, many people won't come unless they have a personal invitation. Who better to get an invitation from than one of your friends or family members? We would love for everyone to bring an extra friend with them to church. After all, this is the perfect time of year. People are already thinking about church and attending on Easter Sunday, so start working on your friends NOW! Get it in the back of their minds and get them thinking about what Easter really means. Church is for anyone and everyone and we at Ransom United Methodist Church are welcoming to any and all that might want to join us for worship. This makes a richer experience for all of us on Sunday. "THE MORE THE MERRIER" certainly applies in this situation! Salvation is for all, but how will they know if they haven't heard? I truthfully cannot wait to get to experience Easter Morning with everyone that can make it. However, that is not the only thing that we have going on this month. Be sure to check out our list of scheduled events and put them on your calendar so you can be sure to attend. We want everyone to be as involved as they can be so they can feel the sense of community that we have to offer. As in the past, the Ransom Church will collect a special Easter Offering. This year the offering will be used to help support the church and the various programs we have planned throughout the year. (Physical Newsletter) An envelope is enclosed for your convenience. I hope to see you all at some of the events this month and in the future. And don't forget...bring a friend. Blessings, Pastor Jon Comments are closed.
